Abby Rivera, Lunch Supervisor/Gym |
"Hi, my name is Abby Rivera. I have been working at HCCS for four years. I have two sons that attend HCCS. My first son Elijah has been here for 7 years, he is currently in the fifth grade. My other son Aaron is currently in the third grade and has been here for five years. We all know we will be here for many more years. I started volunteering at the school when my son was in Pre-K. Two years later I was asked to help with the Hot Lunch Program. Now I am working with Pre-K and Gym. I was recently certified to administer First Aid and CPR." |
| Nicole, a recent graduate from Trinity Christian College is excited to start her first year at Humboldt. After graduating with a degree in Elementary Education she is spending her summer preparing for preschool. She believes that parent communication is vital, and also cannot wait to be a part of the Humboldt community. The verse she tries to live by is Matthew 6:33 "Seek first his kingdom and righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." | |
Jose Sanabria, Kindergarten Teacher |
"I am so happy to be able to be in partnership with the parents in their children's education. I have been at HCCS for 8 years and kindergarten teacher for 7 of those years. I am also the father of five children, all of whom attend HCCS. Not only am I a staff member, I also am a parent that believes in this school and in its high expectations in education. I also believe that faith in the Lord Jesus is the most important key to life and in the promise of Philippians 4:13 -- I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Open communication is also something I feel strongly about because I believe that Together hand in hand we can make a difference." |

Rachel Mercado, Office Manager |
"Life before HCCS was about moving up the corporate ladder as fast as I could in the secular world. I would make every effort to acquire skills through education or by spending my free time watching how a job was accomplished. At one point, I was part owner to a franchise called "Kid's Time." Now, I use all that "wisdom" to serve God's children." |
